"I
sketched this picture in 1982, when I had the good fortune
to tour the Punjab.
I remember walking through a little village near Jullandhar
and seeing some of the most gorgeous women decked in all their
finery attending a local wedding.
It had just rained and the whole countryside was emerald green."
