Rajasthani Musician currently on display at SNS Designs Kaveri Gallery, Nashville, Tennessee "Travelling in Rajasthan was a memorable experience. I remember a wedding we attended where Rajasthani musicians captivated us with the music of the Sarangi. The shamiana (tent) was made of colourful cotton printed sheets which fluttered in the desert wind. The musicians wore elaborate turbans and kept taal (the beat) with heavy anklets." |
